Tools of the Trade

Now that I have decided on the LPC family it’s time to try out the tools. The Device Database entry for the LPC2148 has a link to Evaluation Software. Clicking on that link takes me to a form that allows me (once I have filled it out) to download an evaluation of ARM’s RealView Microcontroller Development Kit. The eval software is a fully functional toolset. I just can’t build more than 16K of code with it, which certainly doesn’t matter at this stage.
